- 1 pkg. Active Dry Yeast
- 1 ½ cups Warm Water
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 7 – 8 cups all purpose flour
- ¼ cup soft shortening
Cover with plastic wrap and let chill overnight. Roll out on floured surface to ¼ inch thick. Cut into squares. Deep fry for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned on both sides.
Serve warm sprinkled with powdered sugar.
